Need opinions on color to paint valance
Ok, I want to paint my valance because I don't really care too much for the slate grey color it is. The only problem is I can't decide on whether I should paint it the same color as the bottom of my two tone paint or black. My grill is now satin black and I plan on putting the blacked out Lightning heads and corners as well as black wheels on it too. But, my truck also has the tan/gold color at the bottom. The top of the bumper is painted to match the bottom band on the truck. So, should I paint the valance the same as the tan/gold band or should I use some black paint or bedliner on it? Opinions please. Below I have two hasty paint pics to kind of give an idea of what it'd look like both ways.

I'm leaning more towards the black anyway. Easier, cheaper, and I like it better. I just. Ant decide on bedlining it or actual satin black paint. The satin black will match my grill, but not sure if it would hold up as well as bedliner paint.
One of my friends suggested doing the two to e color, thought I'd get opinions.

I used a matt black paint about three months ago and I used I take my truck everywhere but the parts and bringing the truck back and forth to my shop was getting ridiculous so I decided to buy a jeep instead and started babyin my truck
But all in all truck holds up good paint wise I can't complain

Looks good tugs, the Rustoleum I used on the grill and the wiper arms had done good too. Made a trip to Charlotte and back, over 500 miles round trip, with no chips or scratches on either part.

I'll definitely be smoking the fogs until I can afford to replace them with depo's as well triton. The tail lights as well.

New question. I just thought about how I'll be using black lightning heads/corners, black wheels, and pretty much eliminating any chrome or polished aluminum on my truck except for the rear bumper and the chrome piece in the front bumper. When I paint my valance, should I go ahead and paint the chrome piece and the rear bumper PTM? Or just leave that little bit of chrome for accent? I'm not sure what would look better. If I PtM I'm afraid that if I use the tab on the front bumper that it may be TOO mush tan. Or, I could paint the chrome strip black or put a carbon fiber wrap on the chrome strip. What do y'all think?
