Smile Need new shocks

The name's Sheepdog. Im new to the forum here and just got a 2000 F-150 XL 2WD Super cab. It has 246,920 miles on it and counting and I very well expect it to make it too 300,000 and beyond. She currently only needs a few things but one of the major things being new shocks. They creak and squeal really loud when any weight is added to the truck or in turns. Can anyone recommend a good set of shocks to replace the oem ones I like something nice but not too expensive.

When I rebuilt my front end I decided on Monroe for shocks. I'm running the Gas Magnums. They've held up well and the ride is nice.

Other than the springs, the entire front end was rebuilt with Moog.

Sure noise is shocks?
Not ball joints? Unlubed rusty suspension?

Oem shocks are cheap on amazon...under $30. About as cheap as get...and still trust to last.

My oems were ok at 220,000 when i put new on

Second on the Monroe Reflex. Good combination of ride and control in my opinion.

I have Monroe OEM Spectrums on my F150. These are the same thing the Sensa-Tracs were, under a new name. Great shocks. Feel like OEM shocks to me, also have the same stuff on my Escape, and they also feel like factory again.

I put Monroe Matic-Plus's on my Expedition 2 weeks ago, and it is a lot rougher ride. I much prefer the OEM Spectrums.
