Default In Need of A New Battery

Are our trucks as picky about batteries as they are about everything else?
I get a nice discount at NAPA so that was going to be my first choice, but if the truck is picky about it and needs a Motorcraft than I will go that route.

No. It all comes down to preference and price.

I like AGM's myself.

No there not picky as long as you get the right size. Some batteries are better than other build wise but a lot of batteries are made by the same company. They just put different name stickers on them. I personally just replaced mine 6 months ago with a motorcraft but that's because I got a good deal and it had the best warranty.

How long do you plan on keepinG the truck? Don't spend $300 on a sealed gel if not. I've always had good luck with the 3yr $85 batteries
