Default Need help, and quickly!

More strange doings with my 2003 Heritage. Right out of the blue, I suddenly got a weird binding feeling coming from the front end. The truck behaves perfectly driving straight forward, but when you try to turn, the truck will come to a near complete stop. If I leave the wheels turned, it'll back up fine for about 10 feet, and then bind up again. Does it both turning left or right. I can't find any loose components, I.E. tie rods, ball joints, idler or pitman, they all seem pretty tight. Had the lowers change about 30K ago. Mind mind is wandering to axle shafts, but is there a way to check those without removing them? ANY ideas are more than welcome. I need my truck back! Thanks.

Are you using 4x4 on dry pavement? This is exactly what it does when you do

Dumbass award! Apperently, when I went to turn on the a/c, I grabbed the 4WD switch instead. Never thought about it, because in over 110,00 miles, I've never done that before. Live and learn. Thanks!

The same thing happened to me but I didn't do it. I had a friend at work start my truck for me one morning. He came back in and said he turned the heat on so that my windows defrost. When I got in it to leave I didn't even take notice that the 4x4 light was on. I took off like I normally do and just about gave myself whiplash. That's when I realized he had it in 4lo
