I was looking to see what exhaust systems you all have had good experiences with(or bad). I just started looking and these two have become my early favorites.

No to the Flowmaster because its a chambered muffler and personally don't like them.

Any stainless system with a flow through non chambered muffler would be my choice!

When I had my 03 5.4L I had a Aeroturbine muffler on it and liked it a lot. So much I recently put one on my 13 5.0L

Gibsons are chambered as well, at least from what I've seen. Flowmaster has a newer line , called Laminar or something like that , that are not chambered. Yea, it's a newer product, haven't heard them yet.

I just purchased Walker SS Quiet Flo. Direct OE fitment and 100% stainless steel.

Did Flowmaster start calling them Laminar as the product line name now? My Hushpower 2 (AKA HP-2) uses Laminar technology, but it's called HP-2. Unfortunately, it's still in the box, but I do have one, LOL.

Here's a video of how it sounds.... want better flow, without a buncha noise out if my F150. I already have one noise maker.

Damn, none of those sounded very good.

I asked if it quiet because my kid wants a quiet muffler for the 98 now. That Borla wasn't cheap, it cost more than the headers (LT's) did...no kidding. Oh well, I still have the box for it, stiil looks new and I used sleeve clamps so nothings bent. I imagine I can sell it. Sounds great, but it is loud. I could put some larger cats , but that's too much work lol.

But yea, that vid doesn't help much. They all had that constipated sound, even the last two which wern't as chambered up. Maybe it's the engine they're using iduno..
