So I have a 99 f150 5.4 v8 triton. She has a lift and off road king shocks and suspension. But lately my front left tire has been acting up badly. My inner and outer bearing literally broke and I replaced them. I also put new brake pads. But the tire feels so sensitive and loose as I drive its ridiculous. In addition its giving me braking problems as of at times it doesn't want to brake, it pulls to my right then oddly to my left. Does Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to what could be wrong??

Is it loose when you jack up that wheel and shake it 12-6 or 3-9? Have you had a shop look at it?

Moved to 97'-03' section.

I would look for tie rod bushing slop. Have someone turn the steering wheel slowly alternating left/right/left/right while you're standing in front of the truck. If the tires don't change direction at exactly the same time (One tire lags behind the other in direction change), your tie rod bushings are shot.

Just curious as to why your user name is F1501993 if you drive a 99'?

Current activity: wandering around the Forum. Makes me wonder how he has his post notification set up. You'd think he'd see notifications of postings to his Thread.

Could be a ball joint also. You said you have a lift on it? Were the ball joints replaced (as well as an a arm possibly) or are they the originals?
