It grounds front pass head area, should be a stud to hang it on.

I had a mechanic come over the other day and he said there is no good ground connection for the PCM, he said everything is getting power from the battery but in order for the ignition coils to produce spark there must be a ground signal from the the PCM to the coils. He suggested back probing my ignition coil connectors, does anyone know how to do that?

Yes 12V VPW. However the PCM grounds the coils to fire them. You can use a cheap little noid light to verify both coils and injectors quickly.

So I finally got it started and it started okay and was idling very smooth for about 10 mins and then this weird hissing sound appeared and the engine started idling roughly and abnormally shaking. I put the scanner on and got a p0352 code for the ignition coil circuit. I’ve tried swapping the ignition coil with cylinder 1 ignition coil and the code did not seem to follow and then I tried swapping the spark plug with a new motor craft ford spark plug and It did not seem to help so I put the old spark plug in and it started right up normally. I’ve tried replacing the ignition coil connector multiple times and it hasn’t helped, let m know if anyone has any ideas.

Swapping doesn't always work, specially if you don't clear the KAM.

Compression test it.

I have not followed the entire thread but adressing just what is stated here, a hissing noise appears and then a rough idle. Sounds like a vacuum leak.

User JCR 56 is right in suggesting replacing the air intake system using stock components.

I installed a performance cold air intake on 2002 F150 5.4 and it caused a host of problems.
