it's a bit of a pain to do, but put sealant around where the boot contacts the coil and seal where the boot contacts the intake. like I said, its a pain to do, but it will keep the water out of the hole in the intake. also be wary of the connectors, alot of $$ can be spent for a corroded connector.

edit: also checking for a fouled plug can be as easy as looking at the "spark plug legend" at the back of any hanes/chiltons manual then looking at your own plugs to diagnose

Like silicone sealant? Wouldn't that be a pain to get odd everytime you change the spark plugs?
