Have you thought about gettin the newer super duty tail lights?

and where did you get your flares. I noticed you hade them up front and then changed. I just dont like the way they look and took my front ones off but theres a gap and want to get the solid ones without the mud flaps

Looks great! Good build thread!

Hey in the pic with your tail gate down it looks like the tail gate is resting on your bumper and not on the cables?
If it is be careful as they dent very easy! The new super dutys sheet metal is thin!

Did you have to modify the tailgate at all? Because that's a upgrade I'd love to do

All my fender flares are from the factory. All I did was remove the mud flaps because I simply didnt like the look of them. 3 screws on each one I think.

Yes the SD tail lights are on the list. The tailgate was a very easy installation. I had to swap these two pieces out on the drivers side latch thing. 13 bucks from stealership. Chrome piece is the new one. Also had to do a tiny, and I mean tiny, bit of cutting on the bed rails so it would close. Not noticable at all.

Yes it was resting on my bumper. I have a body lift and the bumper was up too high for the SD tailgate. I have since lowered it and the tailgate is now 100% accessible.

You've done a great job with your truck bud. Keep up the good work. Subbing to watch the progress.

Couple things

1. Awesome truck!
2. You should move this the truck build section so it doesnt get lost
3. I know you said somewhere you got the obx's for $500. Where'd you get them that cheap?
4. Have you thought about stampede fender flares ptm and wheel spacers?

The OBX s were 475.00 plus shipping. Thats because I didnt get cats. If you opt for the cats then you have to pay a little more. Sparktecmotorsports.com is where I ordered mine from.

I have thought about flares but I dont know if I will like them. Do the stampede flares go onto the factory clips?

Yes I need wheel spacers bad, but eventually im just going to get new wheels with an offset to stick them out a bit.

That price puts headers at a tie with a programmer then for my future upgrades.. i think the flares just stick on with tape.
