Default My Wheel & Tire decisions.

It's time for new tires and I decided to buy wheels at the same time.

Tires are easy:
17" 34-35"
Cooper ST/Maxx, General Grabber AT2's or BFG A/T KO.

Rocks, Sand, Mud, minimal Snow, and about 92% Daily Driving. When I go offroad it's usually for a couple weeks at a time where the truck doesn't see any pavement at all. The truck is fully loaded with camping gear, guns and recovery equipment so they're pretty abusive trips.

Wheels: 17"x8-9"

Black:
I have never seen a set of Black wheels that looked good in pictures and they all look the same when rolling so I'm not really wanting anything all black. I'm not opposed to buying black and trimming them in the same two tone Arizona Beige Metallic as my truck but I haven't seen any wheels that I thought would be worthy of so much extra work.

Chrome:
There's not much chrome on my truck and I think it might over power or look too "blingy." IDK. I've also never had any long term luck with chrome wheels.

Polished, Painted or PC seems like the best options for me.

So far I like Stock FX4 wheels and MT Classic/Bullet wheels. What wheels do you like or what wheels do you think would look good on my truck?

I will be adding a 3" BL along with putting my stock running boards back on.
Here's Deeregeff's truck for reference.

I can't stand "bullet hole type wheels".

So go with FX4 wheels.

I just ordered some 17x8.5 -6 offset level 8 trackers in polished finish from discount tire direct. They are tge classic style and are pretty affordable. Of those three tires I'd go with the st maxx. They are tough as nails off road.

Looks good! I really think the 10th gen is the last gen F-150 that can pull off the bullet hole style well. I had black Pro Comp alloy wheels on my last truck (2001 Explorer Sport Trac) and I got complements all the time.

Fx4's and Cooper STT's or BFG A/T II's. The regular A/T's blow.

I am fan of my MT classics. They have been around for a long time and are a good rim and IMO can't go wrong with that style. Not to blingy and still have a trucky look and you don't look like you live in the ghetto. Will warn you they take a lot of cleaning and polishing the only down fall.
As of tires I would go with copper stt or the newer style bfg at they are badass looking

I'm planning on getting the new stt pro in about a month or so. And yeah I think the mt classics would look great on your truck.

Well, you could go with original wheels and paint the slots.... I did, and it kinda grew on me.

FX4 is the only rim I have and ever will run on a 10th gen, they are simply amazing on these trucks.
