Huh, forgot about this. For those interested, all 4 are still as bright as the day I bought them. No dimming, and every LED still works.

The white eBay ones are doing fine, except for one. It dims off and on, but the other is doing fine.

Silver Ghost, I have a setup similar to that in my motorcycle. It is bright as heck! I also bought a set for my truck but haven't put them in yet.

Here is a comparison to stock on my motorcycle.

yes I installed some in a buddy's truck. A lot brighter on low beams, but the high beams have no reach to them

We need somemo people to install those LED headlight bulbs so we can get better reviews. Whenever they come up we mostly get "Oh you need to retrofit projectors" or some garbage like that from people who haven't tried them.

LEDs = $70. What are the projectors, $+/-300?

Roughly, that's if you already have lightning/HD headlights though, if not tack on $100 more to that.

I almost got them, but was worried about the overall light output. I have some LED lights in my wifes car (low beam only in halogen projectors). The foreground and mid distance light is better, but distance is not as good as halogen. I have read a few that say the low beam is OK, but as Browning said, hi beams leave a lot to be desired.

The difference between LED and HID retrofit is huge. I can have my truck and her car side by said and the retrofit blows the LED's away.

I will say this, I would much prefer to see LED's in headlights vs PnP HID's anyday. I don't get blinded by LED's like I do with PnO HID.

But you really need the clear lenses for the LED's to work best too. With OEM fluted lenses the output from the LED will be pretty cruddy.

And if you get just the head lights and not the corners, you can get them for $54 (and add on corners for like $20).

it's a little too early for LED retrofits IMO. The kits need more refinement.

Give The Retrofit Source some time and they'll get it perfected

You'll be seeing led projectors for retrofits from them before the year is out.
