Slayer, in my opinion, I would not paint the rims black. Usually it makes the truck look like the hubcaps came off its steel wheels. If you want to run steel wheels, then just get a pair of steel wheels. If you want black rims, I'd look for a nice pair of black rims that are manufactured that way.

As said, this is just my opinion. It's your truck.

would it be silly to point out that the truck is already running steel wheels? I see no harm in painting them, they do look a bit weathered.

slayer, IMO any otherwise identical wheels look better black, yours would look decent with a touch up of black. however I will partially agree with misterford that a nice set of aftermarket black alloys would really set the truck off. but I'm not a fan of stock wheels in general;;...

but as said, don't cave to others too much, you'll regret it. nice truck you got there.

What I mean is that they tend to look like these kind of steel wheels...

I know but I had to point it out

although I personally prefer the type to picture, I've seen the style rims slayer has painted black, and I would not confuse the 2 in a million years. way too different. but to each their own....

Thanks everyone for the input I'll just keep my rims the way they are, save up and buy rims for it.

that's the best goal IMO, no matter what you do for now with the stockers. a good set of aftermarket rims really sets a truck off
