I'm going to keep the bug guard on, what about the rims? Would black rims look good? I would think a shiny black would look cool but not sure any input? The other thing is the shift ****, any nice shift handles, maybe a t handle?

Im kinda old school but i think these wheels would look good on your truck. They're american eagle alloy I believe. Sorry they're kinda dirty

I believe the mythbusters proved that you get better mpg with a tailgate net.

My aunt drives a 97 f-150 with the 4.2. She loves it and it has lasted a long time considering she has a 45 minute drive to work everyday and forgets to keep up with basis maintenance like oil changes let alone anything further.

I'm tempted to say it has 180k miles or so and has never broken down.

My dad bought the truck with 52,000 miles on it, a week after he got it it blew a head gasket on his way to work, then at 100,000 miles we replaced the timing cover it had a small crack in it, but other than that he always took very good care of it, the truck now has 126,000 on it.

The guy who bought the truck from the dealer kept all the paper and when my dad bought it he gave him everything, so when I bought it I got all the paperwork and I have the window sticker for it too! The op took it too the dealer for everything.
