I find it funny that only use 4-5 members (MyFx4, Fordmotor, Carcrazy, 4x4dave, Jbrew) are the only people who ever talk about engine upgrades or performance. I mean we occasionally get the 16year old who is putting three supercharges on his stock truck, but it all seriousness I think when completed alot of people will view our threads and get idea of their own.

Once I get mine going its going to be more of the Do Not Attempt without Proper Supervision. You will break something.. But at least I have a builtproof trans I wont have to worry about tho. Transfercase might be a different story..

Haha I learn by trial and error mainly. It's just nice to have a good thread to go by when you are delirious about how to do something.

I comment on some of the engine treads. Not a lot thought because I don't have as much experience as you guys and would rather not give some one bad info. But I like reading all yalls threads /responses and have learnd a lot.

Haha I picked those up yesterday. But I have a massive amount of parts coming in from MMR. $87 worth of shipping parts lol (I got free shipping tho)

Unfortunately, machine shop never called so most likely ill see the engine on monday considering I work all day tomorrow and they're probably closed sunday.

And I dont expect to be done by probably july or august. Its gonna take me some time to actually swap the engine in considering I work close to 50 hours a week and have never done an engine swap before. Im in no rush even though us talking about it only makes me want it done more lol

If you can change pistons or rods, you can change out a motor or tranny. Just mount it to the bushings, bolt it to the flex plate (4 nuts), then wire it up. Simple as that. Prolly wont take 4 hours.

Im not the one instaling rods and pistons lol machine shop is assembling and balancing the rotating assembly.

Yeah I have the knowledge and ability to do it. I know which parts need coming off and so forth its just the fact that ive never done it before ill be a little bit slow. Body lift should help with bellhousing bolts etc to release it from transmission. Its best to remove the intake manifold first right?
