Its not hard to find longtubes. Plenty made for 4.6s which have same exhaust ports as 5.4. Shouldnt have a problem fitting them on my truck since people squeeze them into mustangs.

And they will hit the front driveshaft probably. From what i have found is you the guys with 5.4 DOHC mustangs are still using stock manifolds, and just adding boost.

I got my Intake today! Jealous of you man. Wish I would have done this first, but I think my valves and ports will handle the 600.

Kooks actually makes a set of headers for this application because they had been made and ordered previously. Just have the the cash to pony up $1200..

What about their midlength Shelby headers? They are about 800

That kind of money just isn't worth it for me. Maybe if I was going for max hp but I'm not so manifolds are just fine. Maybe someone else will.

Ya, there are better power parts to add for almost $1000 than headers. Cams would be money better spent

I don't know if I do something like that without longtube headers.

ALL THAT WORK, then bottle neck it ? Specially when it really needs to breath.

Just customize a set for yourself, if you have to.
