Question MPT Ghost Cam Tune?

Has anybody tried this? Just ordered a Livewire TS from them and got the free custom tunes. Thought about ordering one tune with the ghost cam tune. Also what tunes have proven to be the best tunes for our truck, including trans tunes. Thought about going with a race style trans tune with a 93 octane performance tune. And then dialing it back from there. Any thoughts?

It's a lope tune for a gas engine that makes it sound like you have a cam. They have a video of it on you tube and it sounds pretty good. Just didn't know if anybody had heard of it before.

Ghost cam tunes only work on the new engines with VVT I believe.

Having just hooked up my new Livewire from MPT, and opting to stick to 'street' on the trans, I can assure you that at least one of your tunes should be 'race.' Street is plenty firm for everyday driving, but I can already tell (at <100 miles) that I'm gonna want that 'Race' every now and then. As for the "ghost cam," I wouldn't want that in my truck, but to each his own.

The ghost cam tune is specific to only certain engines, I think the new 5.0 and 3.7, and need to have an offroad mid pipe usually as well since the tune also causes the factory cats to heat up. And the tune is pretty much a novelty ( although a cool *** one ) as its only effective to 1200 or so rpms and then kicks back to normal. I have a friend with a boss 302 with a ghost cam tune and it sounds pretty badass. About a good mix of right between between stock sounding and completely cammed out like my 06 is.

For now we're only sending out Ghost Cam tunes for Mustangs with the 3.7L or 5.0L. Software is different on the trucks, so we need to spend more time on it.
