V10 swap or get Supercharged. Don't mess around with that wussy stuff.

That's surprising that your 97 can't powerbreak, don't it have rear drum brakes? Those are easy to break lose, my grandpas 97 4.6 can just sit and spin and my 00 5.4 can't.. Well it will sometimes.. It's temperamental

Might as well.

My point was that he needs to have a goal to reach. If he just wants to throw money at it, it's hard to know when to stop and when you do...what have you gained besides empty pockets? Sure it might have a little more hp but where will you actually notice it besides at the gas pump?

And idk if havering a towing shift kit would have any thing to do with any of this stuff
I have a shift kit an it only makes 2nd gear slam when the rpms are up there, in the rain or snow 2nd slams and the rear kick around an tires spin clear till 50 mph or 60 up hill lol, cool but wasteful

I agree with harding01screw...try a different gear ratio in the diff. i personally have 3.53 in the rear and it's solid as a rock...wont spin the tires. if you change the rear gear ratio, you should get the rubber laying truck that you want

Save your money and buy a mustang. Its a small motor in a big truck, a supercharger is great but boost isn't going to net you any power off the line. The 3-5k you would end up spending on your motor and drivetrain to make decent reliable power (valvetrain, rotating assembly, intake, fuel delivery, transmission) would be better off spent on something else.
