The internet just brainwashed everyone into a group think. Most people that have been around a while know that their quality isn't that great but if they are already there, wait till they start going bad. When the LED's start to go out or you want something different, change your heads. I've seen those heads on a few other trucks at the shows, Some starting to go out, some that were 5 years old that still work fine. My lightning heads are barely 3 years old and I have to replace them soon.
Yes they indeed look cheap and ricey. They would look ok on a Civic but not on any truck

I was in a bad mood with a migraine when I posted that. Sorry. My point is simply, he should change them if he thinks they need to be changed. I don't hate the look and I've seen some seriously aborted retro fits that look much worse than those.

The one piece lights get a bad wrap (even in mustangs) but most of the time I think it's because the trucks front end and fenders are tweaked more than it's the headlights fault.

If the lights are still all working, I can't see a problem with saving his money for other things.

Like new lights

Seriously though, you can get a set of clear heads and corners for around $70 on e-bay and have better light output.
I for one like my headlights to light up the road well, not some dim little area like these things.
