I just bought a 2003 F150 v8 5.4L last month and now i want to start upgrading it. Ive already got a new radio but ive been thinking about getting new black rims,subs and maby something to improve my MPG(i know theres not a lot out there). If you have any suggestions let me know. Im up to anything.

 

CAI, Exhaust, tuner! tuner! tuner!, wheels, tires, gears, bull bars, brush guards, offroad lights, reverse lights. The list is endless, figure out what your main objective is for the truck first

I have almost the same truck, love it. Mods are a lot of personal preference, depends on if you are looking for visual or performance...but as far as gas mileage, IMO, simple maintenance goes a long ways. There are a lot of manufacturers out there that claim a lot that is debatable. Simply keeping tire pressure monitored, air filter clean, injectors clean, fuel filter changed, etc really goes a long ways.

Good call on the radio though...my CD player went out so if you are looking for someone to take the old OEM off your hands, I'm interested.
