Always use a relay when adding any type of auxiliary electrical devices. There are very simple ways of doing this, to very complicated wiring diagrams.

2000MTZ I have same model truck as you and only plan on lighting up the front and back seats and a long strip for behind. How many rolls would I need?

 

Only 1, there's 5 meters of LED's in each roll

Not in a 150 but I've done it in a Superduty

 

I have 3 rolls of 3 different colors. I have yet to use any either. But I only have 1ft on each side of the dash and its real bright but I didn't use those strips for it.

 

Hmm don't know if I like it under the seat like that... Think I want to put it under the dash like urs. Thanks browning bout to order my strips today!
