I've had dealings with Mark before - with MMR and when he was with X2C. I won't go into great detail, but I should have learned the first time. It was just excuses and delays one after the other, and the bad part is that it was simple stuff.

I've heard good things about MHP, but when I rebuild my L I plan on using Sean Hyland.

Edit: Just now saw you wanted something local.

Well, I dropped my truck off at Manny's this morning.... We'll see what he says about the loud tap/knock in the engine. I'll get an answer hopefully tomorrow sometime.

Truck is still down there at the shop, he believes the timing chain guides wore through metal to metal and the tensioner spring broke through. So we'll see... There could potentially be more to it but he saw the guide problem right away. Thanks for asking Wayne!

These people have a horrible reputation in the high performance Mustang community.

Well, I picked up my truck this morning after a week at Manny's, the timing chain guides wore completely through and the tensioner was rubbing in the timing chain. It wore the same on both sides. The chains was getting ground down. They installed BBK under drive pulleys too. I would post pictures but the app/website won't let me upload photos right now.
