thinking is a dodgy coil or something with the clip like you said, i post back once i find a replacement.

Where did you buy the coils and how many $ were the set?
Lot of counterfeit coils out there?
Sounds like you have a broken clip though.

if you can pull the harness connector off of the coil pack without having to press down on the little tab the connector is broken. When putting the connector on the coil you should get a solid "click"

I had one come back off and caused a bad misfire on a road trip. We ended up using a zip tie to hold the connector onto the coil pack until we got home. Then I ordered 8 new connectors and swapped them out. First one might take you a couple minutes to de-pin but after that should be able to breeze through the rest of them - just make sure to pay attention on putting the wires back in the right position (do one connector at a time)

Im going to double check all of them now just to see. that might be a good idea to replace them all. better yet, i might just replace this coil as well, though is it bad to have different coils seeing as the replacements i got where not correct?

I watched a video once, the guy was having misfire issues one of the locking tabs broke off.
So he used a zip-tie to keep it together.

There's my useful tip for the day, enjoy.....

I just spent 2 days chasing a misfire to get exactly the same issue and fix, cable tie.
