So I went to the carwash today and didnt really think the hose hanging across the bay eould do anything to my truck. Well turns out it got caught up on my mirrow and popped the cap off the backside. It doesnt pop back in and it looks like there is some sort of seal/tape that holds it in. Anyone know how to slap this thing back on? Im not sure how it goes on.

 

The factory mirror covers have tabs that hold them in. It probably broke the tabs off. Just glue with some clear silicone.
