Default Bank 1 and 2 O2 sensor replacement

How difficult would it be to replace to O2 sensors with your everyday handyman tools? I don't have my normal auto mechanic tools up at school like I do at home in my shop. I need to replace the sensors pronto cuz it's runnin lean.

Have you narrowed the problem down to the o2 sensors? And I wouldn't say it should be too hard depending on your "everyday" tools

Well my intake manifold cracked when my truck overheated. Had to replace it then after that my check engine light came on. How do you go about cleaning the throttle body??

I did my passenger 02 when i did the manifold on that side, no problems with it but it looked like a PITA to do from underneath esp. unplugging the sensor. It might be easy to do IDK but it was very easy with everything out of the way lol.

I found it easier to just drop the y-pipe.

Make it easier on yourself when you replace your o2s rent the tool from o'rielys or auto zone there's no charge and have some heat handy even if its just a small propane torch from the hardware. Those two things will make the job much easier.

Sometimes I cut the plug off them so I can use the closed end of my 7/8 wrench (plug won't fit thru). Makes it a little easier and less likely to round it off. Heat is necessary sometimes.
