Default Lowering coil buckets

I was just wondering would it be safe to chop the coil spring buckets off the frame and drop them down about 2 inches and weld it back up, I have everything necessary to make it exact or would there be an easier Way to lift, I already have 2 inch spacers and I would just put blocks in the rear

Would buying a longer spring do the same thing. I would think that would be too much of a change for stock suspension. Imagine putting a 4 inch spacer instead of 2 that's what it would be like since your not changing uca or lca

your stock front end can only handle 2" of lift safely. more than that and your balljoints will be maxed out and wear a lot faster. if you want more lift look into getting some lift spindles. if thats still not enough let me know. Im sorta in the process of getting my 7.5" lift ready to sell.
