Ok Question I see the magic number 24.25 center of hub to bottom of fender, seams a little vague is there a hard point number or angle that takes wear items like spring sang worn bushings out of that equation, asking because if I try to push 35" I will need every 1/8" I can get

I was able to fit 35s with 24" from the center of my hub to the top middle arch in my wheel well on my old black truck with no problems other than rubbing the frame at full lock on stock wheels.

The problem you will see is clearing them out back. I would consider blocks and a 285/75r17 tire. They measure out to a 34x11.50 and won't rub your frame at lock.

I just looked at your album what size tire rim combo did you have those look so wide?

I think I'll keep stock rims for now they are 16" so I'd like to run 315/75r16 I'll wait until I get spring spacers and adjust up the T-bars then I'll measure best I can, if It looks to tight to frame I'll drop to 285/75r16
34x11.5 would be ideal but I haven't found similar in a 16" without major cost. I even looked at the 255/85r16 I don't mind the 10.5 width but not tall enough.

I think I had 315/75r16s in those pictures but the wheels were 16x10 with a -24mm offset. They were really wide but I swear that truck would almost float. Lol

What are you looking to spend on tires? Maybe I can help.

10" rims and spacers that explains why they look wide, it was a good looking truck I like the stance.

I tried cooper atp's on my F250 this last time and I'm really happy with them so for the Expedition I was thinking about the Cooper mtp for a little more aggressive tread Coopers 315 runs slightly narrower than other 11.8 to most 12.3 if true that might help with that frame rub

The wheels were just that offset, spacers on top of that would have been rediculous. Lol

I like a cooper pretty well and honestly wouldn't have a bad thing to say about them. So you are looking to stay around $250 for a good name brand tire?

I think my toyo ats are 33.9x11.3 and I have no rubbing even in off camber full lock situations.

lol OK I misunderstood yes that would have been wide

$250 is about my max, I hadn't looked at the 17" but your right it's a great tire size for maxing without issue's I'll bet it fits the spare underneath too?

Guess some cheep rims might not be out of the question for me

You can actually fit a 315 under the f150. You could find some 17 takeoffs for cheap but make sure you can find a tire in your price range that would work for you.

I did run 305/70r16s on my black truck on stock wheels with no rubbing too.
