Default Lost only transponder key!

I lost my only transponder key. I still have a couple regular metal keys for it but they won't start it because of the PATS on the fords. Is there anyway I can avoid taking it to the dealer. It will cost about $250 at the dealer and it would be great not to have to do that. Of anyone has any info, that would be great.

I don't know if maybe a bypass module would work like what they use in remote starts? Best bet is probably going to the dealer. Maybe someone that knows auto starts will chime in and be able to answer if the bypass would work

Try unplugging the pats. I believe that will work.

I think that'll put it into a dead loop.

OP, wire in a Directed Bypass module.

When I installed my remote start I unplugged and drove around with my pats plugged in. I disconnected the battery and my truck worked fine except for the lock and unlock.

That sounds pricey to me, my dealers around 90 bucks for new key and programming, I'd be checking other places for sure
