Default Looking for V-8

Hey guys and gals!! new to the forum here, well last week my engine died on me! Talk about bad timing!! It's a '97 V-6 4.6L. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a new or slightly used block and rebuild it myself, is there anywhere I can go find a V-8 at a good price? Any advice or lookout is greatly appreciated!!!
