Default looking to upgrade shocks a lil better than OE

i have a 98 f150 xlt 3 door, 4x4. bought it about a month and a half ago now and looking to start replacing some parts/ upgrading a few parts. not looking to go to crazy right now with the suspension but i want a better shock than the oe ones. has any body had any experiences with or currently use the Bilstein 4600 Series shock. there fairly cheap at my local auto parts store at around $77 a shock. not looking to spend to much more per shock as i do not want to go to crazy with the suspension for now. also any body use any better shocks that are around this price. and what else should i replace on the suspension to improve it. truck has around 165,00 miles on it. thanks

I went from stock the pro comp es9000 and paid 200 for everything. I haven't had any problems and I love the way they handle. When I go offroading they do even better in my opinion.

I couldn't be happier with them on road. they absorb a lot and corner very well.

did you just type in your vehicle and then order the 4 pack deal that they had for them? just wondering cause all the pictures make it look like both ends of them are bolt through when ik that my front shocks at least have the bolt integrated in to them?
