Looking for suggestions on new tires
I have a 2002 F150 XLT, and I'm looking for suggestions on new tires. I want bigger tires than the stock ones, but I am trying to keep the stock wheels (255/70-16). I'm not trying to spend a crazy amount. Thanks

Well. I'll tell ya what. With no price range, no preferred size, no driving condition, no picture of your truck, no idea where you live.. How we supposed to guess? Any round, rubber tire that holds air will fit your criteria. Tire rack, amazon, Walmart, sears, google..etc all can give you reviews.

So a highway tire? Michelin tires are known for being great highway tires with long life.

Better is relative. Get a 265 75 16 or 285 75 16. All season is fine. I tried a smaller highway tire than my 285's all terrains hoping for better mileage. Didn't see an increase so I went to a 265 all terrain which was stock size for the fx4s.
Cooper at/3
Bfg ta KO
Bridge stone revo duelers ats
Nitro Terra grapplers
Hancook Dyna pros ATM
Those are the most common all terrain tires I've seen. I've ran a couple of them in P rated and LT rated. LT are much more firm riding but have a higher load capacity and stiffer sidewalls.

I had some 245 freeway tires when I got the truck, less than a month later I got a set of 285/75r/16 Toyo A/T's. I went with A/T's because of a few reasons:
1. Cheaper
2. I don't go off-roading, but there is a fair amount of mud driveways is WA
3. It was the first set of decent tires I seen on CL lol, here is some pics:
285's in back, 245 in front:
All 285's on:
Wow those are some old pictures lol.
