If I was to do a few google searches and maybe poke around on amazon I would probably come up with something like this:
Amazon Amazon

They should also work fine in the stock housings after you get the ticket for the dark ones.

I did this to my 03 when I had it. I put small spots lights on the bumper because my house was off the road in the woods. It was tough to see when backing.
Superbrightled makes a good bulb. I have them in my interior, cargo and plate locations. Opt7 seems legit, but I've read mixed reviews.

Tinted windows and backroads make it hard to see on a moonless night so I wired a 6" led bar above the hitch and below the bumper (body lift) and flip the switch anytime I need extra light.
You won't ever get "bright" reverse bulbs but there are some better than others

PLEASE don't put LED's or HID's in those headlight housings. High-quality halogen bulbs like NAPA's new NightBreaker bulbs or Phillips Extreme's will give you the best output and pattern.

For reverse lights, Sylvania ZEVO's are what I would recommend. If you want more light than those provide, take a look at what I did HERE.

LED headlight bulbs are improving all the time and the better ones put out a pattern nearly identical to halogen bulbs. Do your research and you can find some great options.

Stay away from the sylvania LEDs that you see in oreilly's and autozone. They are cheap quality and not even close to being as bright as you can get from online retailers. Ignore the wattage and look at the lumens.

Superbrightleds used to be a good option ten years ago when they were the only other game in town. Now you can get better from amazon or ebay.

the Walmart LEDs I tried for the rears and they are worse than the stock bulbs in there, I'm looking at just some Amazon flush mounts for reverse lights but I gotta get funds first

Yes, they're improving, but you have to spend $100 or more to get the latest designs that come even close to being usable: EXAMPLE
The Sylvania Zevo bulbs are very bright, and very reliable. They are not the only option, but they are a good one.
