Default Looking at getting new tires..

I have a 2000 F150 XLT with a 4.6. I don't want to replace my rims, just the rubber. How big of a tire can I go on the stock rim, with no rubbing. Also, what kind of height would I gain from this? I need new tires, and don't really want to lift the truck, so I figured I would ask what I could do to add some height, and get new tires. Killing two birds with one stone.

Running Firestone Destinations M/T LT26575R16 on my 2000 F150 7700 Ext Cab. 4x4.
No lift, Gas shocks. Factory chrome 7 lug rim. Good traction on and off road.
Works very well on road, even wet. No rubbing etc. Very Happy with these Tires.
Got a set on my '94 Jeep Wranger also. Good tire wear, long lasting.
