Yeah they are more of a spot pattern but still have wide enough coverage that I can easily drive with just them on at night if I wanted to but if I want it wider I just keep my headlights on. I mainly wanted down road coverage so I can see deer sooner. When I first installed these I took a drive and measured out a quarter mile and I could easily see what was there, now I just need to adjust them. I trimmed on the top of those bars behind the grill and have them mounted upside down.

I think you'll really like that setup! I know I love mine and they have more than paid for themselves if you would figure body work cost that I could have gotten if I didn't see the deer. Probably my favorite mod so far!

One more thing to consider, the farther you aim them down the road the wider the "spot" will be

I found the lights that put behind my grille and built the brackets that they are mounted with I guess the lights were for a 60's mustang but work great, the only money I have in the lights is from the pigtails for the light and wiring accessories

Just an update on those Anzo HID lights, if its -15 outside with a -30 windchill the relays don't work so they won't turn on but if its -5 and above I know for sure that they will work. Just a heads up to let you know what to expect.
