could someone take a pic of their cup holder with the light on so I can see where the light would be coming from to see if I have one or not.
same here but I have a supercrew, where does the light actually come from? like does it plug in the back of the cup holder and face the rear of the truck or what? just trying to figure out how to find out if I have one or not.
that would be badass, if you do that be sure to post pics an let me know how you did that!!

Mine only lights up the ashtray - and it's the only incandescent bulb in the dash, as everything else is LED. Is it a PITA to get to? Mu cupholder still pops out, but it seems one side needs repairing, so how does it come out (to fix a rail, and swap out the bulb)?

To remove the whole cup-holder/ashtray sliding tray, there are two flexible tabs on the topside of the tray, that you need to depress with a screwdriver, or something similar. (they keep the tray from sliding all the way out). Once you depress both of them, the tray can be slid out entirely.
With the tray out, you will then have access to the back of it, where you will see where the wiring and bulb mount to. It's just a bulb holder, that you twist to unlock, and then pull-out. The wiring from that harness, goes back into the dash, where it has a plug connector, to hookup with the rest of the wiring.
