Default Leveling kit help

I'm thinking of buying a 1.5" polyurethane coil spacer to level out my 2wd '99. I was wondering if when that material settles if I'd lose some of the height of the spacer or what? And if I should go 1.5 or 2. Thanks

I just wanna level the truck. And after some measurements I found that 1.5" is pretty good. I just wanted to know of when it settles I lose some of that. That's my concern

I'd go with daystar. thats what i just ordered and put on this past weekend. i got a kit that was a 3" lift in the front and a 1" lift in the back and it looks great. mine is also a 2wd. dont know how much you are wanting to spend but mine cost me 150. the only problem was i have to get new shocks in the front. no biggie though. pick them up tomorrow and will post pics after install on saturday that way you can see what mine looks like. i think you would be pleased with a leveling kit like i bought. good luck!

Thank you! Do you think they'd settle less than 1.5" though?

To the op are you installing yourself? If so you will never get a 3 inch spacer in there my friend owns a 4x4 shop and charges way more in pure labor for the 3 inch because it's much harder to get the cool back in, not to mention it can put a strain on your other suspension components

jmburton.... the spacer itself is only a 2" spacer...by the time its installed it puts the lower control arm at a different angle and that lifts it up the extra inch. i didnt konw that when i ordered the kit. when the kit came in i measured the spacer and it was 2" and i called the company i ordered it from and they told me the same thing about not being able to fit a 3" spacer in there. they explained to me how a 2" spacer will actually lift it 3". didnt know that but it worked out. the only complaint i had with the company was that the kit was supposed to work with OEM shocks and it doesnt. so i ordered some ProComp es9000 today and ill pick them up tomorrow. and that will take care of my issue.
