Default Leveling Kit 2002 F150

What is the best way to level a 2002 F150 4x4? Is there a certain brand of torsion keys or leveling kits that are better than others?

I asked this same question when I got my truck, overall from what the people here said, just crank the torsion bars not all the way though

Ya dude, when you buy the aftermarket keys it allows you to crank them too much and you'll end up wearing out the front end. Just crank up the factory ones. All you need is an 18mm socket and a 3/4in ratchet if you have one. More people on here have done that than have bought the lift keys.

Thank You! How many cranks did you do to level your truck?

On my truck it was different on each side I suggest just jack it up turn em a couple times lower it and measure and repeat until its level!

To keep it even on both sides I did it a quarter turn at a time. And if I recall it was 8 or 10 quarter turns. So between 2 and 2 and a half full rotations of your wrench. Start at about 1 and a half turns, then drive it around a little before you see how much it raised up. If you want more then crank more. It's pretty simple.

I believe It was 24 3/4 inches from the center of the axle to the bottom of the wheel opening was the max you should go otherwise you wear parts out faster

Honestly I don't even know why I put those on there all I have is just the stock lift blocks.....but basically they lift the leaf spring pack up off the axle and in turn gives you lift.
