No not in Texas but I did mine with plasti dip so I could peel it off for inspections

I did the same thing on my front turn signals and they look sharp! Did you use the special light paint?

Uploa it to photo bucket then copy the URL and click the little "yellow mountain" icon above the text box and paste it there.
