Hey browning, I took off my some light yesterday and only saw two cables, but I need to take everything apart just to make sure hopefully I'll get my lights for Friday and some rattle cans so I can spray my frame

Ok that means the screws from the light are the ground so one is some light power one is constant

No they're both positive. One is from the dome light circuit, the other is always hot for the map lights you switch on

You probably are some of the older trucks grounded through the mounting screws not a separate wire

No you just tap into the power from the dome light same as before and ground the puddle lights under the dash
