32s are the tallest you can run stock height without rubbing but you can run 33s with a 1.5-2 inch leveling kit

He's right about the 32's. However the final overall circumference of the tire can vary among brands a little. Also what tread pattern you choose. It comes down to whatever doesn't rub. Pick a tire that has a ride guarantee. Because, you need to take it out and do some hard cornering to make sure it doesn't rub under all circumstances.

Ya 265/75/16 would be a stuffed fit but shouldn't rub too bad

I just fit 295/75/16 on my truck. Had to slightly trim the mud flap to make it go straight down, instead of curve back into the wheel well. Only took me like a minute, and you would never notice it though.

I'm running 265/75/16 on my 02 stock wheel no level or lift and they fit great no rubbing at all and no trimming at all. They are buckshot maxxis mudders. Im even thinking of goin to 275 if they have that size.

They fit perfect.. My uncle has an 03 4x4 and the 275s look perfect.. Not tiny looking like my 265s and not the semi-stuffed looked from a 285. Not sure about a 2x4 though..
