I purchased F150 5.0 V8 late 2012 with 2wd. the sales rep told me it would tow my 8K + LB trailer with ease. That was BULLHOCKY. Almost enough power for short drives really, but I was a rookie back then and looked at the max towing only, not the Gross Combined Weight. My fault. Anytime I was passed by a semi was blown all over the road. So any ROOKIES out there I would recommend weighing your trailer (and/or load) prior to purchasing, then calculate with the weight the truck prior to purchasing..
So, I took the easy route and traded for a F350 diesel, now that trailer was nothing. Just getting ready to trade the trailer in on a 12K lb 5th wheel. Should not be a problem...

Oh I'm still rebuilding it I just have so many projects that I could probably make a list a half a mile long lol!! But I have it gutted and put in new laminate floors and built the cabinet for the electric fireplace with stone surround and tv/bluray player and surround sound. I still have to put in the wall panels, windows, kitchen, bathroom, and then I'm having it painted. But my new show cattle barn has pushed all these other projects back.
