I see what your doing there - clever ! I see sets of 6lug ford wheels all over CL for cheap, drives me nuts because I have a 5 lug. Not sure where you could get those for cheaper, not very common.

Get ahold of this guy and see if he can make them...

And.. I wouldn't go with a 2" unless you want a super bro offset... Alot of 6 lug rims have a big offset already and then adding 2" you'll stick really far out.

Dude... if you're heartset on running spacers, spend the coins to make sure you're getting a good set. Those things are a sketchy operation anyway, don't enhance the danger by trying to find a "value priced" set.

To answer majority of questions these are really the only adapters for this truck on the planet that i can find. If i could find strictly adapters with minimal offset that are reasonable i would do that just to get away from the 7 lug.
It is a heavier 1/2 ton but i thought 8 lug was dually's.

I will talk to that guy also thanx for the link.

8 lug is anything with a LT rating. 3/4 ton and up usually. Couple of guys I know have gone from 8 lug to 10 to run the much longer lasting commercial truck tires.
