Default Keyless entry conundrum...

Hey everyone, I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew XLT. When I got the truck it didn't have the key fob for the keyless entry, so I took the spare one to a Ford Taurus and programmed it into my truck. What I didn't know is that it was already programmed for the Taurus, so now it locks/unlocks both vehicles when I press the button. Is there a trick to getting them to work on the individual cars? If not, is there at least a way to deprogram the remote so that it no longer works on my truck?

Thanks!

Do the programming sequence for the Taurus and only program the keys you wish to keep on the Taurus. Then program the fob(s) you want for the truck. They should forget the others, if not revert back to the previous post. Hope that helps. I did the same for my Escape and my 150.

Key off to key on 8 times

On 8th time leave key on

Locks will cycle, press buttons on all fobs you want programmed for that vehicle.

Enjoy.
