Default upgrades this weekend

Well just wanted to throw this out there... this friday the install of 4.56's and the aussie locker will take place. Hopefully the following week or so the 35s will be put on and hopefully this weekend will conclude the body work for undercoat orr at least get me started on it. Pictures will follow with some before and after I HOPE well at least some of the build process anyway.

also if anyone is in or around WV this weekend...trial run for gears nd locker will be happening at a hole near you. message me if interested.

scratch ......the 4.56's went in today and if I must say went RATHER smooth... kinda...
center pin issues...upgrading from 3.55 intales a muchhh larger ring gear and makes it hard to get the pin in the hole. Slight modification had to be done. the locker..once we figured our that the bushing had to actually slide on the axle went REALLY smooth.

anyone out there using aussie locker?? this is my first experience with a locker and it clunks I know I know there is supposed to me some noise, I just don't know what's normal and not...I'm sure it's ok just cause I went word for word off the directions but still always a little concerned when you hear loud thunks coming from under your truck.

I got 4.56s put in my truck. Took it to the shop and handed it over, got a call a day or two later saying they dont fit. Called up that place I got the gears and asked about it they said "just shave the tooth or teeth that are in the way just enough to get the pin in, it'll be fine." Told the guys that were doing the install that and over the phone I could tell that they were looking at me like I was crazy. They did it and everything turned out alright. Now I just wish I would've spent the money for a locker.

How are the 4.56s with 35s? Do you like them?

I have an Aussie in my 2000 it drives from the inside wheel so when you take a turn the outside wheel will ratchet to go faster
And that should be all the noise you hear

The 4.56s turn my 35s just fine. I had to upgrade from 3.55s as well. Chose 4.56s cause my little 4.6l was drinking gas so fast pushing them with 3.55s go through a tank in like 3-4 days might have been able to make five if I only drove to work and back.
