I have custom deavers, 7700 GWVR torsion bars, and upgraded breaks. I hauled a 28' enclosed car hauler. On the scales the total weight was 18,978.. The trail weighed 12,700 loaded.

5000lb drag with a 5 speed and a 4.2. Clutch didn't like me too much. Trailerwise, 2500lb is as heavy as I've gone since I put a new clutch in at 95K miles (TB went out and it made sense to replace the entire unit). The new clutch is heavily warped, chatters like crazy, and has 36K miles on it. Upgrading to a towing clutch with 10K lb of capacity in order for a diesel swap and actual trailer before I get around to the swap.

Might I add that I don't have a tow package on mine, but my rear bumper is rated to 16K lbs...incase it's ever needed.

I towed near 12k with my '07 5.4 fx4.
12 miles or so, no trailer brakes.
Not a happy thing to do.

my 03 supercrew with the 5.4 it pulls well. i Pull a big duck boat all fall and the most i've pulled was a t 190 bobcat skid loader. So with the truck trailer and machine i would guess 16000 to 18000 lbs i think the skid loader weighs 7000 to 7500 lbs
