Default Help I'm screwed

Ok, Changing plugs on a friends 2003 5.4. Got 7 plugs out no problem but #7 was seized in there. So I soaked it overnight with penetrating oil. Went out today put a ratchet on it and started to pull. I felt it move slightly and then pop. Plug broke off completely. It left the threads in there with the outer shell. The electrode and porcelain came out in one piece. I know its a problem with the 04-6.5 with the 3 valve motors but this is an 03. Not sure how to proceed here. Is there a tool to back the plug out?

if just the ceramic broke you should in theory still be able to get a socket around it, hard to tell without a pic of atleast what all broke off. Post a pic if you can and well go from there

EZ Out/Screw Extractor is about all you can do short of pulling the head. If you can't find a long enough one, use an extension with a socket on it. I've been successful with this before.

Funny, you're the second guy to post about this in the last day.

Thanks guys. It broke off just like the ones on the 3 valve motors except the threads are still in there and the nut part came out. I think your right that an eze out is my only option. If that don't work im done.

That's actually the one for the 3 valve 5.4 its to remove the shield part that breaks off. Its not for the threads. But thanks.
