Default Iron Cross weight issues?

Hello, I haven't been on the site for a while since I sold my fully loaded ecoboost 4x4 (engine blew up) and it was problem after problem.

I now have a 2001 5.4 Super crew 4x4 which I'm way happier with. I bought it for $2500 and couldn't pass up the opportunity. So far so good without any problems. Since I bought it I have replaced the whole front suspension and all rancho shocks.

I have now ordered an Iron Cross bumper and I'm wondering if anyone here has one installed on their truck and have noticed any weight issues (being too heavy for our trucks).

I also just ordered 4.56's gears front and back and Truetrac's front and back. Good bye old 3.55 open diffs

With the added weight on the front end you may want to consider aftermarket keys to level her back up or maybe 7700 model torsion bars, but that will be much more involved.

With those 4.56's I hope you are going with at least 35's or you will be rolling some serious rpm's.

I'm actually running 33's but will eventually swith to 35's. Didn't want to get 4.10's or 4.30's then regret I didn't switch to 4.56's.

You would have to get the reverse 4.30 special cut so I would have gone 4.56 too.

I have a Ranch Hand, and I can tell you it does weight it down some, but not enough your gonna notice a difference for the rest of your life. After a week you wont even know its on. It doesn't hurt anything withing the IFS front end, just weigh's a lot so you'll loose a very very bit of your low end and get about .5-1mpg less. Here is mine below.

Btw i hit a fence going 50mph and thats all that happened to the bottom of that bumper. Ill take my weight and 1mpg less to keep myself from $2k-$3k in repair's
