Well if you have a tape deck, its super simple.
Open up the unit, and you will find the tape works off the same schematics as an aux plug. You can either take an old aux 1/8" jack out of a computer or buy a cord for the following.
The head(part that reads and touches the tape) has a left and right Input, and a ground in the tape deck. You can use the head itself, but I think the ideal thing to do would be to find the circuit it hits right(on the board) before the head of the deck(part that reads and touches the tape).
soldered each of these to the 3 wires on the corresponding wires on the aux jack. Then hook up an aux cord from the jack to your iphone and now you have an aux port.
You will probably have to have a tape inserted into the deck to make it work, unless of course you want to bypass that as well.

If you have the tape deck just buy one of these. I got mine for $5 from Five Below(not sure if these will be in your area, idk how far the chain has spread throughout the country.) I've had this one for a year now and it works great. The sound quality is perfect too. Also, if you want a charger they also have them for $5. I'm sure they sell these adaptors online too or at radioshack.

Sorry. I just realized you said you have the six cd changer. They also sell this thing that hooks up to your ipod and sends a radio signal of your choice. All you have to do is find a blank radio station and set the adaptor to that signal. Go to that station and wala! your ipod works. The only issue with these is the quality isn't completely perfect. It depends where you are.

How? My music sounds much better than the radio and doesn't scratch or anything. In my opinion its the best sound I can get off the stock speakers in the truck. What would it improve?
