Default Interior lights and tailpipes

Basically, I have a few extra dollars, and I wanna put in some neat colored lights in the interior of my 98 f150 and was wondering what size they are, and if you can just pick em up at like autozone, or if I should order them someplace special online, and then also if there's like an LED kit that I could somehow put in. Also, I was wanting to put one of those cheesy little bolt on exhaust tips you know? And was wondering if there were any particular ones that anyone here would recommend. I'm doing this mostly cause my stock exhaust is starting to look like ****. (Old, rusty, a few holes. All that jazz) but also if the tips could give a nice deep sound that would be cool. I definitely DONT want to make my truck sound like some POS honda civic that's been souped up to sound like my lawnmower, ya know? And if anyone's got some awese cheap easy mods that would be cool to see too!

Look through this thread for the LED's: https://www.f150forum.com/f6/97-03-l...-guide-174498/

Your exhaust tip won't change the sound enough to really matter. I like 3.5" and 4" tips. You can pick one out at autozone.

A stock 2013 comes with a bolt on tip, cheesy. Ya know?

Haha I can't tell if that was sarcastic or not, but I really do think they're cheesy. Even though I'm about to go get one. This may be a dumb question, but if those won't change the sound, is there anything cheap that will? And I'm having a cold air intake put in next month by a friend, do those make any sort of noticeable performance difference? Or affect mileage At all?

You can replace your muffler with a $30 one and it'll make it sound better. Could have them weld on a tip when you do it.

CAI wont do anything for you and is a waste of money.

Dang! I was lookin forward to that. Also, thanks for that link earlier, it's super helpful. I spose I'll get a new muffler welded on instead. At least that's cheaper, even the cheapest CAI is like $80

Are you wanting mood light in the floor like this?

Or just a bulb conversion?

If you want the strip lights for the floor, get them off eBay by the roll. You can get 10x as much for half the price as autozone, and they're brighter too.

I have blue led strips under the dash and blue leds in the dome light and door lights,DO NOT BUY BULBS FROM AUTOZONE! Been there, done that and they are horrible. You couldnt see a thing with them.

I have these in my dome light http://www.ebay.com/itm/230899386167

And these in the doors http://www.ebay.com/itm/251202955283#ht_1888wt_1255

They are very bright, way brighter than the bulbs you get from part stores.

Browning, these are the LEDS you have right? http://www.ebay.com/itm/271122960574#ht_10054wt_1001
I bought the $20 strips from Autozone like a dummy and they're too light of a blue, they dont match the bulb in the rest of the truck.
