First off i used some 600 grit wet dry sand paper and lightly scuffed it. Then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol. After that, i sprayed it with 3 costs of adhesion promoter and then flat black universal paint. Then hit it with clear coat. The clear (from what i have heard) is really where it helps it hold up. I used all duplicolor paint. I have already done my front lower valance the same way and it still looks perfect.
