Default Intake manifold

So, I am finally doing some needed maintenance on my ever faithful F150.

-2002 F150 XL 4x4
-320,000 miles
-4.6L

I am replacing the intake manifold and valve cover gaskets, and doing a BUNCH of cleaning. I have the entire intake removed...The upper portion of the intake is metal, the lower half is plastic; how easily do they separate? Perhaps in my weariness, while finishing up for the day, I just overlooked a few obvious bolts holding the two halves together? My gasket set includes the gasket which goes between the two halves.

While I am down this far, would anybody have any other recommendations?

I would go ahead and redo that coolant line that sits in the valley while you are there. Am I reading correctly that you have the upper and lower intake out and as one unit?
